Because of its high linalool content, Ho Wood can give a cooling sensation when used topically that can also help during issues like cramps during menstrual cycles. Its aroma and properties are very similar to Rosewood Oil, which is a threatened species and should be avoided. 

Directions

Aromatic: Diffuse using 3-4 drops per 100 mL of water or use in a personal inhaler.
Topical: Dilute to 2-5% in a carrier.
